Sigurd comes from a family of friluftsliv enthusiasts in Tromsø Sigurd grew up ski-touring, hunting and spending most of his time outdoors. After competing in biathlon for half of his life he gave up on this dream and became an Arctic Nature Guide. He is now living on Svalbard being a full-time guide
After finishing his studies of International Management. Jonas worked in process management and marketing, but his passion for being outdoors grew. So he quit his job and moved as far north as possible, to Svalbard. This island became his second home and he got educated as an Arctic Nature Guide.Jonas is now working partly as a business consultant in Munich and as an Expedition Guide on Svalbard, fulfilling his dream.
Moritz is a German filmmaker and mountaineer. Who has produced several award winning adventure documentaries which are still being screened at international film festivals. Working as a freelance cinematographer and editor he have gained a huge amount of experience shooting movies in difficult and extreme environments as well as creating a story out of those images.
Hermann spent his time being a secondary teacher in an outdoor life school and serving in the Norwegian army. In his spare time, he is often found fishing, hunting or instructing fellow people in the art of free-diving. Next to his job as a high-volt electrician, he is an educated Arctic Nature Guide and has been on countless ski expeditions. Currently living in Alta in Norway he is working as a guide as often as possible – and trust us, there is a reason he is being called The Herminator.
Mats, born and raised in Norway, found out at an early age that he would rather spend life as a poor man outdoors than be rich behind a desk. This mindset was the foundation of his intense interest and passion for nature and adventures. He sailed across the Atlantic, climbed several 6.000 meter peaks and crossed many of the biggest wilderness areas in Norway and Svalbard on skis. He has a bachelors degree in outdoor life and biology and finished his studies as an Arctic Nature Guide.
Peder, a Sami from Tromsø, has been an avid hunter and fisherman from an early age. Samis are the native inhabitants of the north wherefore Peder learned to understand the Arctic as no one else. After living in the south of Norway for many years he finally moved back to Finmark to pursue spending every possible chance living the friluftsliv and supporting his family with Reindeer herding. His path then eventually led him to Svalbard in order to become an Arctic Nature Guide.
Mats, a 23-year-old Northern Norwegian from Bardufoss was literally born with skis on his feet. He spent his youth hunting, fishing and skiing in the mountains. Up until he served a year as a ranger in the army at 19 he competed on a national level in cross-country skiing and biathlon. He then decided to make another use of his skiing proficiency and outdoor passion and became an Arctic Nature Guide. With every ounce of his body he truly is the most Norwegian person imaginable.
